The Dawn and Celestial

Image
Dawn's voice shattered like fragile glass: "What's left of our humanity?" Her anguished cry echoed through the mist-shrouded mountains. Celeste's whisper cut through the darkness: "Humanity is what's left." His pause hung like a precipice. "For in our unyielding struggle, our unbearable suffering, our mortal surrender – we find our true essence." Dawn stood frozen, her blood-soaked arm trembling beneath the weight of her sword. Her father's lifeless body lay at her feet. The cold mountain air choked her breath, but her gaze locked onto Celeste before a harsh wind blew away his visage. The wind whispered secrets, its gentle caress a haunting contrast to the turmoil raging within Dawn. Her chest heaved, and she exhaled a strong sigh. Tears blurred her vision. Celeste's words seared her soul: "We fight. We suffer. We die. Yet, in that darkness, humanity endures." Dawn's anguished scream shattered the e...

Chapter 2: Full mind, Empty heart

The morning drew across the sky. The 3 suns burned down in the morning as the party found themselves standing around and trying to figure out who the party's leader should be. The debate got rather loud into the early hours of the morning. At the entrance of Dawnburgh, a woman entered the gate with a backpack strapped to her back and a hood shrouded over her face. She had a short sword on her hip and a large bow on her back. She steps into the dawn. As her white mask reflected some light she looked around. Rather tired from her early morning walk she headed to a tavern. The loud debate of a random group of people drew her in to listening in to the conversation. She quickly interjected. And the party noticing her odd mask drew her into a quick conversation. They quickly agreed to have a drink with each other after noon. And so they separated. The party went their way, and this woman Rhen Amiitari made her way to do some errands. After a few hours of Rhen messing aro...

The Dawn land Chapter 1. Is this Fate?

The Carriage clattered across the ancient brick that was once laid in this town. This town Is where our story starts. The City of Freyford was built on the banks of a carefully crafted harbor and is truly an ancient curiosity. Its wonder is matched by the backdrop of rich, luscious fields which have helped shape the city to what it is today. The trade resources these fields brought were of great importance, but they were also influential when it came to architectural designs as the vast majority of buildings have been built with an abundance of large windows to mimic the openness of fields. The skyline is sprinkled with towering watch towers and they clearly show what they represent to the city itself. Education is superb in Freyford and it has attracted a lot of attention. Countless cultures have left their mark not just on education, but also upon the city's identity. What was historically a city of few cultures has grown into a new culture of variety and it's this that u...

My Battle With Mental Health (Chapter 1)[page 27] Coffee and Regret

I got of the bed…   and started walking over to door… the soft carpet under her bed… something that I did not notice before…   the floor was warm… but my hands still felt cold… numb even… but at that moment… with both of my feet firmly planted on the ground I had to stop my mind from wondering.   I knew what I needed to… my goal right now was coffee… down the hall and to the right, so I took my time walking towards the door… I wanted to get my head straight. I needed to make sure that I was awake… but who was I to think that my spine was going to be chilled… as I opened the door out to the rest of the house I felt a cold breeze against my skin… the warmth that I loved, the warmth that I felt like I needed was stripped away from me. The outside hallway was dark cold… the tiled floor exaggerated the cold, the fact that there was no light, made everything feel ominous.                 I had to go ...

My Battle With Mental Health (Chapter 1)[page 26] Not So perfect Love.

She walked away after she said that. She walked over to the mirror to start fixing her hair…  she looked around and picked up her skirt… “I told you to wash the cloths yesterday…” “HEY! I did… there just no dry… ” “Sander! I have work to day… I can’t just ware my school cloths!” “If you wanted them done sooner you should have washed them…” “You want me to use wet cloths…” “That’s not what I said Ally...” “I’m the only one that’s making money. ” “I’m the one that’s paying for this apartment Sander…” “I was saying I wanted to take a leave from school and just work…” “You can’t even pass one subject… you think you can take on school with work! The least you can do is actually appreciate what I’m doing for you…” “I did not ask you to do this for me!” “CAN’T YOU BE HAPPY THAT I’M TRYING!” “I CAN’T! I DON’T WANT YOU TO SUFFER FOR ME I CAN DO IT ALL ON MY OWN!” “I AM ASKING YOU TO HELP ME WITH SOME OF OUT HOUSE HOLD CHORESE!” “I KNOW AND I’M TRYING!” “I DID NOT SIGN UP F...

My Battle With Mental Health (Chapter 1)[page 25] Dreams with Regret

“We can make it warmer… “Warm heart for a warm room…”                 Her arms wrapped around my neck… This… feeling… I don’t remember it… but it… feels so familiar… I was feeling hung over… but my head felt so clear… Her lips gently touched mine… the kiss was soft but passionate… and as the kiss broke… I unintentionally smiled… her dark blue eyes… made it so… clear… this was supposed to be a onetime thing… I brushed the hair out of her eyes… then lead my hand down to her chin, god… the control I need for this… I can really do anything… my head rushing with so much on my mind… I can’t really think of anything else but her… the way she looked at me. I was infatuated with her… “You’re smiling….” “You make it sound like I’ve never done that before…” “I’ve seen you smile… but this one… is real.” “You know me to well…” “I don’t even know your last name… but… this…” “Just a one time thing I know” “Hell no d...
