“Sir are you here for… something?”
“Um… I’m here to meet Niki.”
“Niki… she Is still inside…”
“Oh… do you know when she is done?”
“thirty minutes at most. “
“I’ll wait here…”
“Want some coffee? My wife always makes me far too much.”
“Um… I don’t want to be a bother… I’ll be happy just to wait here “
“Fine… if you want some I’ll be over here.” As he said this he walked over to the guard house…

I stood
there looking at the stars… the moon… it all… looked so nice… it truly captured
my attention… soon I found myself sitting down on the edge of the side walk…
snow started to cover my shoulders and head. I heard the snow crunch under
someone’s shoes…
“Hey…” that soft voice the melodic intonation… just the raw
sound… it was Nik, I Spun my head around and looked at her.
“You really managed to keep a man waiting.”
“Don’t flatter yourself ”
“I think flattering yourself is a good way to keep yourself alive.”
“I like to have other ways to get my sets of thrill…”

As I
was about to stand up she suddenly sat down next me… So… warm… she was in a
skirt and leggings not to show off but I could tell that she was cold… she
wrapped her arms around me then spoke.
“I still don’t know your name.”
“Do you really need to know my name”
“I think I should… considering your taking me out to drink”
“it’s Sander”

She
stood up… pulling on my hand she brought me to the street. I felt her warm hand
on mine… the warmth was comforting… she wrapped her arms around mine. We walked
forwards… it was more than something that simple, so we made our way to Char’s
bar… each step sounded like a rhythmic beat crunching of snow under our shoes…
as we waked over I heard Niki starting to hum… her soft voice started to calm
the area around us. it gave everything a bigger sense of meaning… she knew what
it felt like to me someone like me. she started to prove that I can still be
something bigger. I looked at her and the soft light from the moon perfectly
encapsulated her face the highlight of the light made her brown hair slightly
glow. Then suddenly she stopped humming…
“Sander you are staring.” As she said this she turned to
look at me…
“Sorry… it… it was just such a nice…um…” I froze I was not able to say anything else.
“Don’t want to stop there, I was about to take that as a compliment. ”
“I was going to give a compliment. It… I just can’t really say what I want to right now… can’t find the words for it right now.
